Buck Knives founder’s, Hoyt Buck, first knife was made from a worn-out file blade in 1902. That knife was a fixed blade, and for many years, all Buck knives were fixed blades. Now, over 100 years later, Buck Knives continues to offer a comprehensive line of fixed-blade knives, ideal for field and general tasks. For the outdoorsmen who prefer the absolute solid feel of a fixed blade, Buck’s best selling model 119 Special sets the standard by which the others are measured. Based off this timeless design, Buck now has a 119 Special Pro featuring S35VN stainless steel and green canvas Micarta® handles. This combination of materials offers the best grip with Buck’s premium steel to ensure maximum field performance.

Overall Length: 10 1/2" (26.7 cm)
Imported Sheath

Micarta
Micarta is known for its strength and durability and is nearly impervious to weather, oils, and solvents, making it slip resistant in wet conditions.

Paul Bos Heat Treat
We are known for our blades. Buck Knives is a market leader in edge retention thanks to our steel selections and heat treat process pioneered by industry famous, Paul Bos, whose heat treating system has proven to be the best in the business. Each blade is put through a rigorous heat treat process and quality performance test. It is then tempered to the appropriate Rockwell Hardness through a heating, freezing, and reheating system. This gives you longer edge life, ease of resharpening, and a blade that will not fail you.

Made in the USA

AVAILABLE FEATURES AND OPTIONS
S35VN
This martensitic stainless steel provides supreme edge retention with a combination of ductility, hardness, toughness, and corrosion resistance. For optimal performance, we harden to Rc 59-61.
CLIP
The crescent tip makes the blade thinner with a sharper point. This shape provides good control for detail work and cutting in tight places. It is also well suited for intentional punctures like new holes in your belt, etc. While the point of the blade is effective for detail work, it's not as strong as the thicker points on drop points and skinners.

BLADE: Satin Finish, S35VN Steel, clip blade
